Terms of Service

These terms govern accounts, prepaid credits, purchases, model API access, and use of DiscountedTokens.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing credits, claiming an API key, or using the API, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.

2. Service and reseller disclosure

DiscountedTokens is an independent reseller and routing layer. It is not OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, RunAPI, EasyRouter, Stripe, Coinbase, or any other named provider. Requests may be fulfilled through third-party upstream model pools. Model labels, outputs, latency, context limits, rate limits, availability, and upstream identity can change. Catalogue entries and savings figures are comparison information, not a promise that every route will remain callable at all times.

3. Accounts and keys

You must provide accurate information, protect account credentials and API keys, and notify us promptly of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your credentials. Keys may be suspended, rotated, or revoked for security, abuse, nonpayment, or breach of these Terms.

4. Credits, prices, and taxes

Credits are prepaid service value denominated in USD, not money, deposits, securities, or transferable stored value. Credits are consumed by metered API usage. Prices may change prospectively as upstream costs change; the rate returned or displayed for the request controls. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and exchange or network fees.

5. Payments and refunds

Card processing is provided by Stripe. Crypto payments may use Coinbase or another displayed provider and can require network confirmation. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy. If you are entitled to a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right, nothing here removes it. Where permitted, you expressly request immediate delivery of digital credits and acknowledge that withdrawal rights may end once credits are delivered or consumed.

6. Acceptable use

You must comply with law, these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable upstream restrictions. You may not use the service to violate rights, attack systems, evade safeguards, distribute malware, send spam, exploit minors, or facilitate illegal conduct.

7. Customer content

You retain rights in content you submit. You grant DiscountedTokens and its upstream providers the limited rights needed to transmit, process, and return that content. You represent that you have authority to submit it. Do not submit highly sensitive information unless you have independently assessed the risks.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an availability-dependent basis. Maintenance, upstream outages, provider restrictions, or security events can interrupt access. We may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue models, routes, features, or pricing. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve paid credit balances through ordinary service changes.

9. Intellectual property

The site, branding, interface, and original documentation are owned by the operator or licensors. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners and are used for identification and compatibility only.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, model identity, output accuracy, or suitability for high-risk use. AI outputs may be incorrect or harmful and require human review. To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or the amount you paid in the six months before the event. We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. These limits do not apply where prohibited.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, abuse, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, upstream restriction, or material operational risk. Where reasonable, we will permit withdrawal of eligible unused credits under the Refund Policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the operator's province or territory, excluding conflict rules. Before filing a claim, contact support@discountedtokens.com and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Mandatory consumer rights and small-claims rights remain unaffected.

13. General

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; the operator may assign them with the service. These Terms and linked policies are the complete agreement for the service.
